This year’s Future Forward Energy Conference is offering a unique opportunity for attendees to add value and enhance their experience by participating in a Pre-Conference Workshop focused on how to create the environment that can lead to getting a project permitted and hands-on training on how to handle contentious hearings, public meetings, or information sessions. Whether you are new to the industry or a seasoned veteran, developer or consultant and looking for new ideas, this Workshop is geared for you.


The Workshop will be conducted by Alan Claus Anderson from Polsinelli and the
University of Kansas School of Law, Frank Rizzo, EVP of Strategy and Operations and Jake Burns, Strategist from Bantam Communications, and Dr. Christopher Ollson of Ollson Environmental Health Management who have combined worked on hundreds of wind, solar, battery storage, and transmission projects with the scars and war stories to prove it.

About Dr. Christopher Ollson: Dr. Ollson is one of North America’s foremost experts
in public health and safety considerations for siting of energy projects. Over the past 25 years he has participated in local, state and national permitting of oil, pipeline, wind, solar, hydroelectric, natural gas, and battery storage projects in over 25 States and all Canadian Provinces. Dr. Ollson spends countless hours a year in the public and beforelocal and state Commissions. He trains developers and experts in the art of Risk Communication and Testifying before government bodies.


About Alan Claus Anderson: Alan Claus Anderson is a Shareholder and Chair of
Polsinelli's Energy Practice Group and an adjunct Professor at the University of Kansas School of Law teaching Renewable Energy Law Practice and Policy. Mr. Anderson represents renewable energy developers in project development and permitting on projects throughout the country, representing clients in more than 8,000 MW in operating wind, solar, battery storage, and transmission projects. Mr. Anderson is also actively involved in numerous committees, organizations and trade groups supporting the energy industry.
